Review: Plaza Restaurant

This week I thought I would review one of the hidden treasures of the Magic Kingdom, The Plaza Restaurant.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is Victorian casual that really makes it fit perfectly on Main Street. The interior is a bit crowded and the chairs were not the most comfortable (the fact that I was soaking wet from a downpour probably didn’t help).

The menu is perfect for those looking for a light lunch and the prices are only slightly higher than most counter service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom. I had the Reuben Sandwich. It was a large sandwich, full of meat and served with french fries for $10.99.

We also had the Chicken Strawberry Salad. You can see in the picture, it is served with a large chicken breast and strawberries in a white zinfandel vingagrette. This filling salad will set you back $14.99.

The plaza is known for their ice cream, so for dessert I had the Browne Sundae. And let me tell you, it was as delicious as it looks! Chocolatey goodness!

We also had the strawberry cheesecake, which is a New York Style Cheesecake with strawberries.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Plaza Restaurant! The Plaza is a great restaurant for guest paying out of pocket for their meals. While the food is great, its not the best deal on the dining plan. And don’t fill up on your entree because the desserts are to die for!
