This weekend I messaged Mark and said, “I am doing my Disney bucket list.” We started going through restaurants around the resort that we hadn’t eaten at yet, adding each one to the list to someday be check off. When we got to the resort restaurants, we worked our way through the resorts associated with each area of the resort. But when we got to Epcot, we had a spirited debate. What resorts are considered Epcot resorts? Disney has certain classifications, but I don’t necessarily agree with them. So I am wondering how you, the audience, classifies the resort. Here are the resorts I classify in the “Epcot” category:

Beach Club
Yacht Club
Boardwalk
Port Orleans-Riverside
Port Orleans-French Quarter

You will notice that I do not include the Swan or Dolphin resort on my list. Non-Disney operated resorts don’t count in my opinion. They don’t bring the same magic, so I don’t count them.

Do you consider them part of the Epcot Resort realm, and why? I am interested to hear other reader’s views on this.
