Snacking in Epcot: Bier Stand

germanyWhen thinking of your favorite places to stop for a snack in Epcot, I bet most of you never thought of the Bier Stand in the Germany pavilion. Most of what is served at the Bier stand is what you probably expect from the name, Beer. To be exact they have Radeberger Pilsner, Altenmunster Oktoberfest, and Schofferhofer Grapefruit Beer as well as shots of Berentzen Apfel or Jagermeister and a wine. I have to admit I am not a beer drinker, but I am intrigued by the Grapefruit Beer. But the reason I am highlighting this location is the hand-rolled pretzel. The pretzel is the same as the one that they serve at Sommerfest but without the line! No, this pretzel is not shaped like Mickey or stuffed with Jalepeno cheese, but it a classic, warm, salted, soft pretzel that should not be missed!

What do you think? Do you love the German pretzels too? Have any of you tried Grapefruit Beer? I always love to hear your opinions!

My favorite snack at WDW. But one tip. Don’t buy your pretzel from the stand at the front of the pavilion. Go all the way to the back snack window right in front of the Biergarten restaurant entrance. It’s a little tough to find, as it faces away from the pavilion entrance, but it’s worth it. The pretzels come right out of the oven there, which makes them so good.

I love the pretzel in Germany!! Buttery, but not overly done. Never tried the grapefruit beer, sounds interesting.
