My (Food) Bucket List: La Cava del Tequila

In honor of Cinco de Mayo I am talking about a must do on my next trip and that is La Cava del Tequila, a recent addition to the Mexico pavilion.

This place seems so cozy and relaxed! The bar is all lit up and the seating area has a real Mexican flair to it! There is even someone on hand to talk with you about the tequila making process. How cool is that?

As the name implies, they specialize in tequila and margaritas! But these aren’t your typical margaritas. Here you can get Jalapeno, Hibiscus, and coffee margaritas! If you’re up for it, a tequila flight is available as well.

While that is all fine and dandy, this isn’t My (booze) bucket list. So, lets talk about the food! They have simple, snack type things like queso blanco with chips and shrimp cocktail.

This really seems like a great place to just get away from hot sun and crowds on a busy day in the park! Check out their website at lacavadeltequila.com!

They are open daily from Noon until park close! So, what are you still doing here?

Have you been to La Cava? What is your favorite margarita?

WE went to La Cava and I thought it was done REALLY well. We live in San Diego where Tequila is not hard to find, let alone Tequila bars.
We had the Teq sampler and some food.

Great experience all around and glad to see the refresh of that area.
