New Illuminations Barge “Show” at Epcot

Today, our friend Rikki from “Its A Disney World After All” has an update on a new “mini-show” so to speak that is starting at Epcot this week concerning the Illuminations barges entering the lagoon.

“Around 3 pm, a new “show” has begun in Epcot at the bridge lift where the barges for Illuminations float in. Before, nothing would happen, just the bridge would lift, then go back down. Now, songs from Tapestry of Nations play and a narrative is given about the show itself and the hardware that is needed for the show.”

I like it.. Its better than the bridge going up and everyone just standing there seeing everything. A way to inform people a bit about Illuminations,and having the Tapestry of Nations music back in World Showcase is never a bad thing!

If anyone out there sees this, let us know how it is, whats said and so on!
