I received a Google Chat message this morning from none other than Mark Weaver, the owner of this blog. It said, “Lets get Epcot center tattoos.” My response? “brb, I have to go to the mailbox.” I wasn’t necessarily interested, plus I had to go put letters in the mailbox. Either way, that message has opened up two talking points for me.
The first is would you, or have you ever gotten a tattoo? I know its not something that is unusual, but I don’t have anything, so that thought of one is a big life event. My comment to most people about tattoos is that you wouldn’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley. This is not to say that I think my body is a Bentley compared to others, but that I treat my body like it is. You wouldn’t purposely drive like a maniac in a very expensive car unless you are a maniac.
The second point it brought up was if you were to get an Epcot themed tattoo, what would it be? Mark’s answer was classic pavilion symbols. I agree with that answer. They are well known and interesting. The colors are amazing, and they are very recognizable. If I had to pick one for myself, Spaceship Earth would be the go too… I love that symbol as it reminds me of my motto, “Keep Moving Forward.” Horizons, World of Motion, The Living Seas, they are all awesome!
So my question to you all is: 1. Do you have a Disney Themed Tattoo? and 2. If you were going to get one, what classic Epcot symbol would you get?
Excited to hear your answers!
