Meals can be hectic, even when you aren’t dealing with 56,000 other people trying to eat at the same time. So here are a few tips for eating at Walt Disney World that will make your life just a little bit easier:
1. Eat a late lunch or an early dinner! The time between actual meal times, like 10:30-11 am or 2-4 pm are great times to eat and not have to worry about big crowds. Get to the parks early, enjoy some attractions, then go have a big breakfast! If you are only eating 2 big meals a day, you will also save money!
2. Save money by eating dinner during lunch! If you look at dining times at the different restaurants on property, you will see that many serve lunch from 11-3 and dinner from 4-9 or whatever. Restaurants have virtually the same menu for both lunch and dinner, so book a late “Linner” for like 2:45, and enjoy! There will be fewer crowds, you will escape the mid-afternoon heat, and have a delicious meal at a cheaper price than the folks that come in after you!
3. Eat early! Want a picture of Cinderella’s Castle without all the annoying people in the front of the shot? Book an early morning breakfast at the Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace. You will get admission to the park before the general public. You will get to walk down Main Street, USA, by yourself! Plus, you will have a wonderful breakfast buffet with Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore and Piglet.
