The Living Seas Secret Lair
On a recent trip to Walt Disney World, I had the opportunity to meet with a wedding planner for my upcoming nuptials (more about this in a future post). After pondering reception spaces, the wedding planner suggested one that I was not familiar with. She told me about a space at The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Apparently when the pavilion was built, this unique space was built to house the sponsors, and be a private meeting area for Disney executives.
It is a stunning room, opposite of the tunnel you walk through to see the tanks. It is full of stunning views of the Living Seas tanks, mahogany wood and deep, rich blues and yellows. A see through grand piano rounded out the space in an amazing way. As you walk into the room, you enter pre-reception space the gorgeous wood work overwhelms you! It is absolutely stunning.
The reception space has 2 tiers, with the bottom tier butting up to the tank, and the top tier holding the seating and tables. It was unbelievable, and unexpected, as I had never even heard of this room before. I can’t wait to hold my reception here, and hopefully I will be able to share some gorgeous pictures with you in the near future.
