Hello again! Last week you came with me as I explored my top three must-do attractions in the Magic Kingdom. You all gave me some great feedback about your must-do attractions, so I want to keep this going. This week, I have decided to visit Epcot and once again I have a list of three attractions that I absolutely must experience while I am in the park. So, come with me and let’s have some fun in Epcot shall we?
Well, my first stop in Epcot has to be Spaceship Earth. I absolutely love this ride. I love that it goes over the history of communication, and I love that the attraction uses animatronics to tell the story. This attraction is very relaxing and a great way to escape from the Florida heat. Also, this attraction has had some awesome celebrity narrators such as Walter Cronkite, Jeremy Irons (my personal favorite) and now Dame Judi Dench. And for those of you who may be new to the parks, please do not call Spaceship Earth the “giant golf ball”. It definitely isn’t- it’s so much more awesome than that!!
My second stop would be in the Land pavilion, and I would be heading for Soarin’. This ride can often have long wait times, so you might want to be sure to grab a fast pass for this attraction early if you would rather catch another attraction while you wait on your fast pass time to roll around. I am not sure why Soarin’ is one of my favorite attractions. To be honest, I am deathly afraid of heights. I won’t touch Tower of Terror because it scares me too much, but for some reason I forget all about it on Soarin’. Perhaps it’s the smells, or the feeling of really soaring over all of these sceneries that just makes me forget my fear and enjoy the attraction. But honestly, Soarin’ is one that will never get old for me. Hopefully though it will be updated soon. I love it the way it is, but I would like to see some changes made as well.
Well here we are- my third and final Epcot must-do. Have you been keeping track of your own must-do’s? Let’s keep going. For my final Epcot must-do, I have to say that must-do would be to see Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. I know that this is not an actual ride, but believe me when I tell you that this show is one that you won’t want to miss. If you have someone who is in need of assistance, there are special seating areas, otherwise, you might want to find a good spot about an hour or so before the fireworks begin, otherwise you might have a hard time seeing everything. Besides, finding a spot early allows you to grab one of you favorite snacks while in World Showcase, and you can rest your feet. Surely you are tired after the day you have had.
So, we have been through Epcot and went through my top three must-do’s. What are yours? Would you go to Living With the Land? What about Maelstrom? You all gave me some great responses last week so I am really interested to hear what you will have to say about Epcot!!
